TRiBE Gatherings are times for TRiBEmembers to come together, renew our bonds of kinship, have fun, and share ritual and social time.We generally have our large Gatherings bi-monthly on the Sundays nearest the new and full moons. Our Gatherings usually begin with a potluck dinner and social time, followed by deep, collaborative ritual that picks up the themes alive for all of us in the moment. The creative elements of poetry, music, meditation, sacred theatre, drumming, dancing, and other arts are woven around a theme each Gathering, and built upon shared rituals.
Each Gathering, we open and close with our TRiBEsong, share bread and water, build a fire, and have a children’s “Wild Rumpus Parade”. Children are always a welcome and vibrant part of our community, so please bring them! Please also bring a vegetarian-friendly potluck dish and a donation, and try to come 10 minutes early, so that we can begin the Gathering on time. Feathers in hair, headdresses, costumes, and joyful or sacred clothing greatly encouraged. Most of all, please bring your true, authentic, wild self! We hope to see you there!
We also often offer a number of of other Gatherings, such as a Healer’s Circle, Drum Circle, and a weekly meditation. Check with your local TRiBE to see what’s being facilitated.
Our meditation is a deeply peaceful evening of both guided and silent meditation. Using music, Tibetan singing bowls, and occasional chants and visualizations, this is a powerful time to reconnect with your inner self. Open to anyone interested, no experience needed.
